I am determined...

I'm wondering if the last couple of weeks is a foreshadow of what's to come this year..I don't think I have had a slowgoing weekend or week since October! Something different seems to be happening all the time, from many of my friends celebrating thier 30th, to supporting my friends by promoting their businesses [Hailey, Rhea, Amy, Rebecca, Jaymie, you all know exactly what I'm talking about...oh the fun of it all..wink wink], to reconnecting with old friends, to keeping my family entertained, and the list goes on.

There are several major events taking place this year that I must mention:

• My best friend in the entire world ever is getting married and I will be visiting California for the first time ever in life [besides the time I went when I was 2...um, yah, no recollection there].
• I am turning 30 [I know, I know, I keep mentioning this...but it's just really freakin scary!!].
• My 10-year wedding anniversary [all I can say is...wow].
• My youngest daughter, Ashlyn, will be starting ballet [it may seem like a "who cares" thing to you, but you haven't had to live with her begging to be in dance class for the past year...it's heartbreaking..."pweesee mama, pweeeeeeeeeseee, i wan go bawey cwass cuz I'm a buful pwincess"..she actually snuck into a class when we were at the studio once and "auditioned" for the owner/instructor...so yah...it's a HUGE deal around here].

Amidst all of this madness, I also have vowed to myself that this year I WILL achieve the goals that I have set for myself, and to do that is actually going to take some effort. As many of you already know, one of these goals is to become proficient on the piano/keys. I've also taken up trying to learn how to play the guitar, mostly because a great deal on one practically got thrown in my face and I really had no reason not to take it. It's proven to be easier than I thought, but it's going to be a while before I'm comfortable with it..I'm ready for the challenge, though! Bring it!
